Cherry Blossom

The Cherry Blossom or 'Sakura' season is upon us. The pretty little flowers only last for a week or two and in that period masses of people travel to see them in the parks around Tokyo or further afield. I spent part of Thursday looking around Shinjuku Goen in Shinjuku (strangely enough). Felt a bit weird being in this reasonably tranquil park knowing that one of the busiest areas of the city surrounded it.

I've also added a neat little voting system onto my webpage on the right. Ignore the advertising bit which I have to endure as its a free service, and instead just take part in the first of many deep and meaningful questions which will have you debating for hours.
